Puri, June 6: Archaeological Survey of India Puri Circle Superintending Archaeologist Shri Milan Kumar Choule paid a courtesy visit today to Deputy Chief Minister Prabhati Parida at her official residence. During the meeting, detailed discussions were held regarding the conservation, preservation, maintenance, and security of various heritage monuments and historically significant sites in Puri district that are managed by the ASI.
The discussion also emphasized the importance of protecting Odisha’s rich cultural and architectural heritage for future generations. Special focus was given to strengthening restoration efforts, improving visitor facilities, and ensuring better coordination between the state administration and the ASI for the safeguarding of ancient monuments.
The meeting reflected the government’s continued commitment towards heritage conservation and the promotion of Puri’s historical and cultural legacy at the national and international levels.
