K. Nuagaon, June 6: Mahant Ramakrishna Das Maharaj of the Shri Radha Ballabh Math in Puri visited the under-construction Jagannath Temple at K. Nuagaon Bazaar in Kandhamal district. During his visit, he also attended the nine-day Ram Charit Manas discourse program being held at the Manas ground and delivered blessings and spiritual messages.
In his discourse, he elaborated on the glory of Lord Jagannath and the importance of devotion. He also captivated devotees and attendees through Jagannath bhajans and kirtans filled with devotion and spirituality.
Expressing satisfaction over the ongoing construction works of the Gundicha Temple, Jagannath Temple complex, and other grand temple structures at the site, the Mahant conveyed his appreciation and offered several suggestions to the committee members and organizers.
Present on the occasion were committee president Krishna Mohan Panigrahi, vice-president Pandit Kumar Bishi Majhi, secretary Dhabaleswar Patra, Manas Sabha president Ranjit Kumar Panda, treasurer Prabhat Kumar Panigrahi, senior members Shyamaghana Sahu, Bijaya Kumar Sahu, Juria Pradhan, Sushil Kumar Patra, Sukanta Kumar Mahapatra, Chittaranjan Patra, along with several other members.
A large number of devotees and local residents participated in the religious event. The Mahant remarked that the program had become an excellent example of devotion, unity, and collective cooperation among the people of the region.
