Public Concerns Raised During Peaceful Protest at Baipariguda Health Centre

Baipariguda,June 6:: Demanding better healthcare facilities and recognition of the Community Health Centre as a Sub-Divisional Hospital, members of Baipariguda Suraksha Manch staged a peaceful mass protest for three hours inside the premises of the Community Health Centre.

The protesters stated that despite repeatedly informing district-level departmental officials about the issues, no solution has been provided so far. As a result, they were compelled to take this step in the interest of patients.

Under the leadership of Suraksha Manch president Bishwajit Nayak, several prominent local leaders and residents participated in the demonstration, including Santosh Pattanayak, BJD block president Manoj Nayak, vice-chairperson Purnnama Barik, Zilla Parishad member Rajeshwar Mahuria, Mani Jani, Sarpanch Suryam Nayak, former Sarpanch Bhagi Murjia, and Bangu Dhal, along with people from various villages of the area.

During the peaceful protest, the participants strongly demanded that the Baipariguda Community Health Centre be granted Sub-Divisional Hospital status and highlighted several healthcare-related problems faced by the region.
