Bhubaneswar, June 8: A special screening of the upcoming film “Bharat Bhagya Vidhata” was held in Bhubaneswar, celebrating the courage and dedication of healthcare workers. The event was attended by actor Kangana Ranaut and Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, along with members of the film’s cast and crew.
The screening paid tribute to healthcare professionals whose selfless service during critical moments, including crises faced by the nation, forms the inspiration behind the film’s narrative. During the event, several healthcare workers were also felicitated with special “Bharat Bhagya Vidhata” badges in recognition of their contributions.
Speaking about the film, Kangana Ranaut said that “Bharat Bhagya Vidhata” reflects the spirit of India, highlighting the dedication, sacrifice, and patriotism of everyday citizens, especially frontline healthcare workers. She emphasized that the film aims to honour the unseen efforts of those who serve society during emergencies.
Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi appreciated the film’s theme, noting that it captures the emotional strength and commitment of healthcare professionals who continue to serve society in challenging situations. He also welcomed the film team to Odisha and acknowledged the contribution of the healthcare community.
The film features an ensemble cast including Girija Oak, Smita Tambe, Amrutha Namdev, Esha Dey, Priya Berde, Asha Shelar, Suhita Thatte, Rasika Aghase, Aditya Mishra, and Zahid Khan.
Presented by Dr. Jayantilal Gada (PEN Studios), the film is produced by PEN Studios, Manikarnika Films, and Paramhans Creations, in association with Eunoia Films LLP and Floating Rocks Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. “Bharat Bhagya Vidhata” is scheduled for theatrical release on June 12.
The event concluded with a message of gratitude and recognition for healthcare workers, reinforcing the film’s central theme of honouring real-life heroes who serve the nation selflessly.
