Bhubaneswar, June 9: School and Mass Education Minister Nityananda Gond has indicated that the duration of the summer vacation may be extended.
A decision regarding the holidays will be taken after reviewing the heatwave situation in the state.
Earlier, it had been announced that schools would reopen on June 22.
As the heatwave continues, people are suffering severely from the intense heat.
