The drive aims to decongest roads, improve traffic management, and enhance safety arrangements for the lakhs of pilgrims expected to visit Puri during Rath Yatra. The administration has warned against re-encroachment and urged residents and traders to cooperate in maintaining public spaces.

Officials stated that similar enforcement measures may continue in other areas as part of comprehensive preparations to ensure a safe, orderly, and spiritually enriching Rath Yatra experience for devotees from across the country and abroad.
