Bhubaneswar,  June 17:  There is good news for the people of Odisha. The southwest monsoon reached Odisha on Friday. The information was provided by the Meteorological Department in Bhubaneswar.

Under the influence of the monsoon, rainfall is likely at some places in northern Odisha. The monsoon has already reached the districts of Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Bhadrak, and Balasore.
