Chief Minister’s Livestock Prosperity Scheme Opens New Avenues for Women’s Empowerment Through Livestock-Based Livelihood Opportunities

Bhubaneswar,  June 29 {UDN}:  Women are being empowered and integrated into the mainstream of society through new livelihood opportunities under the Chief Minister’s Livestock Prosperity Scheme.

The success of the Maa Ghanteswari Self-Help Group in Keonjhar district is a shining example of the scheme’s impact. By establishing a goat farming enterprise, the group’s members have significantly increased their income, built a strong identity for themselves, and secured a brighter future for their children.

The initiative highlights how sustainable livestock-based livelihoods are transforming rural women’s lives through financial independence and self-reliance.
