Puri, June 30 {UDN}: During the meeting, a comprehensive review of medical preparedness, emergency response systems, ambulance deployment, hospital readiness, and other healthcare arrangements was conducted. Officials were instructed to further strengthen all healthcare facilities so that pilgrims receive uninterrupted, prompt, and efficient medical assistance throughout the festival.
The Health Department reaffirmed its commitment to providing seamless healthcare services and maintaining effective coordination to ensure a safe and well-organized Rath Yatra for all devotees.
The meeting was attended by the Mission Director of the National Health Mission, the Director of Health Services, the Chief District Medical and Public Health Officer (CDM&PHO) of Puri, the Commissioner of Puri Municipality, and other senior officials of the department.
