Bhubaneswar, July 2 (UDN): Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has congratulated nine young hockey players from Odisha for their selection in the Indian Junior Men’s National Hockey Team for the upcoming tour of Belgium.

The selected players are Anmol Ekka, Adrohit Ekka, Rohit Kulu, Mukesh Toppo, Vivek Lakra, Sanjit Tirki, Prashant Barla, Rittik Lakra, and Aryyan Khes.
In a message shared on his official social media handle, the Chief Minister lauded the achievement of the young athletes and said their success reflects Odisha’s strong hockey tradition and growing sports ecosystem. He highlighted that their selection is a result of the state’s focus on nurturing grassroots talent.
The Chief Minister also noted that Odisha continues to strengthen its sporting culture through structured training, infrastructure development, and talent identification programmes aimed at helping young athletes perform at the national and international levels.
He extended his best wishes to the players for their upcoming international tour and expressed confidence that they will bring pride to the state and the country.
