Bhubaneswar, July 8 (UDN): The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for thunderstorms and lightning in parts of Odisha, including Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj districts.
The Bhubaneswar Meteorological Centre has warned people to remain alert as thunderstorm activity is expected in some areas. Several parts of the state are still facing water accumulation due to recent rainfall, even as weather conditions are gradually improving.
Authorities are monitoring affected areas and taking necessary steps to manage water-related issues. The IMD has advised people to take safety precautions during thunderstorms and follow official weather updates.
