Bargarh, July 20 (UDN): A doctor at a Community Health Centre (CHC) in Odisha’s Bargarh district was allegedly assaulted by a youth following a dispute over delay in treatment, with the incident being captured on CCTV.
According to reports, the incident occurred late Sunday night when the doctor was attending to patients at the health facility. The alleged attack left the doctor injured and raised concerns over the safety of healthcare workers on duty.
Police have taken note of the incident and initiated further action based on the available evidence, including CCTV footage of the alleged assault.
