Bhubaneswar, July 21 [UDN}:: The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has invited applications under the Central Government’s Sarvakshama Scheme 2026. The scheme provides a six-month window for institutions operating recognized Provident Fund (PF) Trusts under the Income Tax Act, 1961, to regularize their compliance status.
The notification for the scheme was issued on June 29, and it will remain in force for six months from the date of its publication.
The scheme applies to establishments managing recognized Provident Fund Trusts under the Income Tax Act, 1961. However, it does not apply to institutions that have already received a formal exemption order from the Central or State Government.
Under Category 1, the scheme covers establishments seeking retrospective regularization, organizations that have been complying without previously obtaining exemption, and those opting to comply with the prescribed regulations in the future.
Under Category 2, establishments wishing to regularize their Trusts retrospectively, as well as organizations exempted under the Code on Social Security, 2020, and continuing their operations, are also eligible to avail of the benefits under the scheme.
