Public Grievance Hearing Camp Organised in Nabarangpur, Authorities Review Citizens’ Complaints and Assure Necessary Action

Nabarangpur,July 22 UDN}:  A joint public grievance hearing camp was held today at the conference hall of the Umerkote Municipality under the joint chairmanship of Nabarangpur District Collector Dr. Maheswar Swain and Superintendent of Police Kashyap Parth Jagadish.
Additional District Magistrate (General) Dr. Pramod Kumar Prusty, Chief Development Officer-cum-Executive Officer of the Zilla Parishad Biranchi Narayan Darwan, Sub-Collector Prakash Kumar Mishra, along with all district-level departmental officers, were present at the camp and heard the grievances of the people.
Wherever immediate resolution of the grievances was possible, necessary action was taken on the spot. For the remaining complaints, the concerned departments were instructed to take prompt action and resolve them at the earliest.
A total of 33 complaint petitions were received during the day’s grievance hearing camp. Of these, 22 were individual complaints and 11 were collective complaints. While 3 complaints were resolved at the spot, the remaining complaints were forwarded to the concerned departments with instructions to resolve them within the stipulated time frame.
In addition, financial assistance was provided to one person from the Red Cross Fund.
