Nabarangpur: July 27 UDN}:A pension distribution programme was organised on July 23 at the premises of the Papadahandi Panchayat Samiti in Nabarangpur district. The programme was held under the chairpersonship of Papadahandi Panchayat Samiti Chairperson Hemalata Majhi.
Vice-Chairperson Sushant Kumar Behera, BSSO Subrat Kishan, Ishwar Bishoyi and other dignitaries were present on the occasion. During the programme, a total of 52 beneficiaries were provided with various social security benefits, including Madhubabu Pension Scheme old-age pensions, widow pensions and disability pensions.
In addition, a wheelchair was distributed to a differently-abled girl to support her mobility and make her daily life easier. The programme highlighted the importance of ensuring that government welfare schemes and social security benefits reach eligible and vulnerable members of the community.
