Puri July 30 UDN}: On the occasion of the Bahuda Yatra, a free food and drinking water distribution service was organised for devotees on the Bada Danda in Puri by the Manaba Seva Hi Madhaba Seva organisation.
Office bearers and members of the organisation came from different parts of Odisha to participate in this humanitarian service. The service began at around 8:30 AM and continued until 1:30 PM. Food consisting of rice, dalma, khata, along with drinking water, was arranged for approximately 3,500 devotees.
The organisation’s President, Mr. Diptikanta Mahapatra, and Chairman, Mr. Chandra Sekhar Satapathy, personally supervised the entire service activity. The organisation’s representative in Puri, Mrs. Golap Dash, took complete responsibility for coordinating and managing the service programme.
Secretary Mr. Gyanendriya Dash, Joint Secretary Mrs. Itishree Satapathy, Coordinator Mrs. Gitanjali Panda, Organisation Secretary Mr. Bijay Kumar Panda, along with members of the senior advisory committee and other members of the organisation, also participated in the initiative. Members and volunteers from various parts of Odisha came together to extend their support and contribute to the service.
Despite facing several challenges and difficulties, the entire programme was successfully conducted in a well-organised and peaceful manner. With the support and cooperation of everyone involved, this service initiative has been carried out continuously for the past seven years.
The office bearers and members of the organisation expressed their determination to continue such humanitarian activities on an even larger scale in the future. After completing the distribution of prasada, all the members of the organisation together visited and had darshan of the chariots of the three deities and sought their divine blessings.
