Koraput Collector Takes Stock of ‘Parab-2026’ Preparations at Parab Ground, Emphasising Better Facilities, Proper Management, and Successful Conduct of the Cultural Festival

Koraput, Aug 6 [UDN}:  The District Collector of Koraput today visited the Parab Ground to inspect the venue and review the preparations for the upcoming ‘Parab-2026’ Festival, one of the district’s most significant cultural celebrations. During the inspection, the Collector assessed the overall readiness of the site, evaluated the progress of various development and infrastructure works, and held detailed discussions with officials regarding the arrangements required for the successful organization of the festival.
The review covered key aspects such as venue development, public amenities, security measures, traffic management, sanitation, drinking water supply, electricity, parking facilities, emergency response systems, and other logistical requirements. The District Collector instructed the concerned departments to ensure that all preparations are completed well before the commencement of the festival so that visitors, artists, and participants can enjoy a safe, smooth, and memorable experience.
