Koraput Administration Steps Up Preparations for ‘Viksit Bharat – Employment Guarantee and Livelihood Mission (Rural)’ as Collector Reviews Progress and Coordination Efforts

Bhubaneswar, Aug 7 [UDN}:A coordination meeting under the ‘Viksit Bharat – Employment Guarantee and Livelihood Mission (Rural)’ scheme was held under the chairmanship of the District Collector of Koraput. The meeting focused on effective implementation of the scheme, ensuring better coordination among concerned departments, accelerating rural employment opportunities, and strengthening livelihood support mechanisms for rural communities.
During the meeting, officials discussed strategies for improving convergence among various government programmes, ensuring timely execution of developmental activities, and enhancing the benefits of the scheme at the grassroots level. Emphasis was laid on transparent implementation, proper monitoring, and active participation of local stakeholders to achieve the objectives of sustainable rural development and employment generation in Koraput district.
