ABVP Launches Membership Drive in Jajpur with 14,000-Member Target, District-Level Workshop Focuses on Expanding Student Participation

Rasulpur, Aug 8 [UDN}:  A district-level membership collection workshop was organized by the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) at the Abhimanyu Samantsinghar Bhawan premises near Juakhia Market in Jajpur district. The workshop focused on strengthening the organization’s presence among students and expanding its membership base during the academic year 2026–27.
During the programme, ABVP announced a target of enrolling 14,000 new members in Jajpur district for the upcoming academic session. A new membership campaign poster was also unveiled on the occasion by the organization’s office bearers and workers.
Hundreds of ABVP activists and representatives from various colleges across the district participated in the workshop. The event witnessed discussions on student welfare, leadership development, career opportunities, and the role of youth in nation-building.
Addressing the gathering, ABVP Odisha East Province Vice-President Bailochan Dash, State Student Co-Incharge Usharani Chena, Department Organization Secretary Biranchi Narayan Tripathy, District Organization Secretary Biplab Basatia, and District Coordinator Amit Kumar Bhanja highlighted the importance of creating a supportive environment for students and helping them achieve a bright future.
The speakers emphasized that the organization works towards addressing challenges faced by students, promoting a stress-free lifestyle, and guiding young people in overcoming obstacles related to education and career development. They stated that collective efforts and active participation of members are essential for achieving the objectives of the organization.
The ABVP leaders urged every member and worker to actively contribute towards fulfilling the membership enrollment target set for the district. They also encouraged students to join the organization and participate in activities aimed at student development and social responsibility.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by ABVP worker Yashobanta Das. The workshop ended with a renewed commitment among members to expand the organization’s reach among students throughout Jajpur district.
