SOA University Recognized for Empowering Women Workforce

Bhubaneswar, Nov 28: Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (SOA) Deemed to be University has been honored with the Femina Achievers’ East 2024 award for its commitment to empowering women in the education sector. The award was presented at a ceremony in Kolkata by the British Deputy High Commissioner to East and North East India, Andrew Fleming, and Alliance Francaise du Bengale Director, Nicolas Facino.

SOA takes pride in its significant representation of women, with over 54% of students and 42% of its workforce, including faculty members, being female. Women also hold prominent leadership roles at the university, with three institutes led by women Deans and 45 key positions occupied by women, including the Controller of Examination.

Ranked 14th in India by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2024, SOA continues to empower women and foster leadership in both academic and administrative spheres.
