Bhubaneswar, Aug 17 [UDN}:A retirement felicitation ceremony was organized at the premises of the local Chaitanya Temple in Nabarangpur to honor Damu Bhatra, a Class-IV employee of the District Welfare Department. The programme was organized by the District Class-IV Employees’ Association of the Welfare Department, with Association President Arun Kumar Das, who was working at Kodinga High School, presiding over the event.
On the occasion, Shri Bhatra was felicitated with a traditional upadhoukan (ceremonial cloth) and various gifts. A formal citation was also presented to him on behalf of the association in recognition of his dedicated service.
The employees present at the ceremony recalled several memorable incidents and experiences from Shri Bhatra’s long professional career and praised his contribution and commitment to his duties. Speakers expressed their appreciation for his sincere service and wished him a peaceful and happy retired life.
Vice-President Chandrabati Patra, Chitrasen Bishoyi, Rupadhar Bhatra, Sadan Harijan, Jagadish Pradhani, Sahadeb Pande, Ranjit Patra, Trinath Jala, Ranjan Saura, Benudhar Sethia, Baidyanath Bhatra, Padmavati Bishoyi, Yajnaseni Bhatra, Sabhabati Mangala Nayak, Ganesh Gand and other Class-IV employees from various schools across the district were present at the programme.
The gathering concluded with tributes to Shri Bhatra for his years of dedicated service and best wishes for his post-retirement life.
