District Collector and Superintendent of Police Hear Public Grievances Together, Direct Officials to Ensure Swift and Effective Resolution

Tentulikhunti: Aug 20 [UDN}:A joint public grievance hearing was held today at the Rajiv Gandhi Seva Kendra in Tentulikhunti Block under the chairmanship of Nabarangpur District Collector Dr. Maheswar Swain and Superintendent of Police Kashyap Parth Jagadish.
The hearing was attended by Zilla Parishad Executive Officer and Chief Development Officer Biranchi Narayan Darwan, Sub-Collector Prakash Mishra, District Welfare Officer Palaka Rabindra, District Education Officer Chhatrapati Sahu, District Social Security Officer Meera Nayak, BDO Manoj Kumar Panigrahi, and other district-level departmental officials.
A total of 52 grievances were received during the public hearing. Of these, 30 concerned individual problems, while 22 related to village-level and collective issues.
The grievances included demands for repair of the Pujari Guda–Anchalagumma road and the Hirmimunda–Bhitar Mangra road, opposition by local residents to the proposed construction of a nuclear plant, complaints raised by women against the sale of liquor, and issues related to pensions and ration cards, among others.
Assistant Engineer Gobinda Kanhar, Junior Engineers Brajabihari Mahankud, Uma Kanta Sahu and Padmanabha Raut, Supply Inspector Rohit Majhi, BPC V. Ananta Kumar, Agriculture Department Officer Barun Dhanaphula, and other block-level employees were also present and extended their cooperation in conducting the grievance hearing.
