Baban Singh Receives Doctorate for Exceptional Social Service, Bringing Recognition to His Dedicated Work for Community Development

Jharsuguda, Aug 20 [UDN}: Dr. Baban Singh has been conferred an honorary doctorate as the “Best Social Worker” in recognition of his outstanding contributions to humanitarian service, social welfare, and health awareness. The honour was presented by the Gyanadan Honorary Doctorate Awards Foundation at a ceremony held in Rourkela on August 9. The organisation is known as an entity affiliated with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India.
Dr. Baban Singh has been actively involved in social service for the past 35 years through various social organisations. He is also associated with the Jharsuguda Red Cross. He has played an important role in creating continuous public awareness about various emergency health issues and diseases, as well as the importance of timely medical attention and first aid during emergencies.
He regularly organises awareness programmes in schools and colleges on measures to prevent heart disease and the immediate steps that should be taken in the event of a stroke. He has also made significant contributions to cow welfare and service.
Considering his continued involvement in helping underprivileged people, promoting social harmony, and undertaking various public welfare activities, he was presented with the honorary doctorate.
The Foundation stated that Dr. Baban Singh’s dedicated social service activities are an inspiration to society.
