Kotpad, Aug 24 [UDN}:: Koraput District Collector Manoj Satyavan Mahajan visited Kotpad and participated in a virtual meeting of the Revenue Department, organised by the Revenue Minister, from the block office. Various issues related to the department were discussed during the meeting.
Following this, the Collector inspected the under-construction Revenue Department building and held discussions with the departmental engineers. He also visited the Kotpad LAMPS office and reviewed the registration process for the mandi. He toured the rural market at Girla Panchayat and interacted with local residents.
The Collector also inspected the facilities at Kumbharshala and Jodinal and discussed measures for improving the existing arrangements. He visited the under-construction building of the Revenue Inspector, the new mandi yard, and Chitta village Sevashram, where he interacted with the students.
During the visit, he also inspected the Amrit Sarovar and the Kotpad Sudaksha Centre and discussed their functioning. The Collector directed the agencies executing various projects to complete the works as soon as possible and hand them over to the concerned departments.
He also inspected the Kotpad Community Health Centre.
BDO Sandhya Samarth, Tehsildar Trinkil Sethi, block officials, Block Chairperson Kamala Bhatra and Block Vice-Chairperson Tapan Panigrahi, among others, were present during the visit.
