Cuttack is all set to host the Samabartana Utsav (Convocation Ceremony) of the prestigious Utkal Sahitya Samaj, beginning from August 29. The literary and cultural organisation is preparing to celebrate the occasion with a series of programmes highlighting Odisha’s rich literary, artistic and cultural heritage.
A major highlight of this year’s ceremony will be the conferment of the prestigious ‘Utkal Ratna’ honour on renowned singer Shyamamani Devi, in recognition of her remarkable contribution to Odia music and culture.
