Bargarh Sept 3 [UDN}:The stat, e-level Gahma Purnima festival was celebrated at the Veterinary Hospital premises in Paikmal, Bargarh district. The event featured traditional cow worship and prayers to Lord Balabhadra Dev, along with an awareness programme for cattle rearers.
A seminar was also organised on “Impact of Climate Change on Livestock and Its Mitigation Measures.”
The festival was jointly organised by the Department of Fisheries & Animal Resources Development and the Odisha State Farmers’ Development Cooperative Society. On the occasion, guests unveiled the ‘Krushak Samachar’ magazine.
