Hyderabad, Sep 07: Hyderabad’s rise as one of India’s busiest business destinations is also reshaping what travelers expect from a hotel stay. Responding to this shift, Sheraton Hyderabad Hotel has expanded its long-stay accommodation portfolio with the addition of 42 new apartments, taking its total inventory to 98 apartments and 228 rooms.

The expansion comes at a time when Hyderabad is seeing strong commercial momentum. Cushman & Wakefield reported that the city posted record office leasing of 12.44 million sq. ft. in 2025, while CBRE highlighted continued demand from GCCs, technology companies, and BFSI firms. For hotels, that is translating into rising demand for stays that are better suited to longer itineraries, project assignments, relocations, and family travel.
The new apartments span three categories: Studio Rooms at 35 sq. m., One-Bedroom Apartments at 61 sq. m., and Two-Bedroom Apartments at 88 sq. m. Whether a guest is in Hyderabad for a corporate project, relocating for work, or simply seeking a longer, more comfortable stay, there is now a format that fits. Views from the new units include Garden View, City View, and the much-coveted Outer Ring RoadView – a perspective that captures the energy of a city constantly on the move.
What makes this expansion particularly thoughtful is the attention to everyday living. Each new apartment comes equipped with a washing machine, a dishwasher, and a potable water supply, the kind of practical amenities that transform a hotel stay into something that genuinely feels like home. It is a small detail, but for someone settling in for weeks or months, it makes all the difference.
Commenting on the expansion, Subhankar Bose, General Manager, Sheraton Hyderabad Hotel, said,
“Hyderabad’s continued growth as a business and investment destination is creating stronger demand for stays that offer more space, more flexibility, and the comforts of everyday living. As the city sees sustained momentum across office leasing and corporate activity, we see a clear opportunity in serving guests whose travel needs extend beyond the traditional short-stay format. With these 42 new apartments, we are strengthening our long stay offering with accommodation that is practical, well-appointed, and aligned with how modern guests want to live while on the move.”
With this addition, Sheraton Hyderabad Hotel further strengthens its position in the extended-stay segment, catering to business travelers, relocating professionals, project teams, and families seeking spacious, well-equipped accommodation in Hyderabad. The expansion reflects the hotel’s continued focus on delivering stay experiences that balance comfort, functionality, and brand-led hospitality.
