‘Sambandh’ Cooperative Membership Programme to Be Launched by Chief Minister in Major Push for Cooperatives

 Bhubaneswar, Sept 8 [UDN}:The Chief Minister will launch the cooperative membership programme, ‘Sambandh’.
The programme aims to make one person from every family a member of a cooperative society, the Chief Minister said.
 Dividends will be distributed among farmer members of PACS and LAMPS.
Dividends worth ₹14 crore will be distributed among more than 3 lakh beneficiaries.
 The Chief Minister will inaugurate 21 milk collection centres and 50 agricultural service centres.
He will also inaugurate 46 consumer centres and 200 public service centres.
The government will establish 100 model mandis equipped with improved infrastructure.
The Chief Minister will lay the foundation stone for three new warehouses.
