Balangir, Sept 10 [UDN}: Another significant step has been taken towards further strengthening the road connectivity and transport infrastructure in Balangir district.
The Works Department of the Odisha Government has approved a major road improvement project for the Agalpur–Nagaon road via the Ghuchepali PWD Road, with an estimated expenditure of ₹31 crore, 15 lakh and ₹34,000.
The project is expected to significantly improve road infrastructure in the area and make transportation and daily commuting more convenient for local residents. Better road connectivity will also facilitate the movement of people, agricultural produce and other goods, thereby supporting local economic activities.
The development is expected to provide a major boost to the economic and social development of the region, while improving accessibility to nearby areas and strengthening the overall road network.
The approval of this project reflects the government’s focus on improving rural and regional connectivity and creating better infrastructure facilities for the people of Balangir.
