Tourist Safety Gets Major Boost at Deomali as Security Measures Intensified Following Recent Attack and Robbery Incidents

Koraput, Sept 11 [UDN}:Following recent incidents involving attacks on tourists and robberies, the Koraput district administration has significantly strengthened security arrangements at Deomali Hill Station, one of Odisha’s prominent tourist destinations.

Strategic locations have been finalized for the installation of CCTV cameras to enable real-time surveillance and monitoring of the area. The administration has also intensified coordination among the police, forest and tourism departments to ensure better security and prompt response to any untoward incident.

Special emphasis is being placed on weekends and public holidays, when the number of tourists visiting Deomali is generally higher. The enhanced security measures are aimed at ensuring the safety of visitors and providing a more secure environment for tourists.
