Four New Medical Colleges to Come Up in Odisha as Government Completes Land Identification, Strengthening Medical Education and Regional Healthcare Services

Bhubaneswar: Sept 11 [UDN}:The process for establishing four new medical colleges in Odisha has officially begun, with the government having already completed the identification of suitable land for the proposed institutions. The move is aimed at expanding the state’s medical education infrastructure and strengthening healthcare facilities across different regions.

According to the latest development, the locations for the four proposed medical colleges have been identified, marking an important step towards taking the projects forward. The government is now expected to proceed with the necessary administrative procedures, planning, infrastructure development and other formalities required for setting up the institutions.

The proposed medical colleges are expected to become operational within the next two years, significantly increasing the availability of medical education and healthcare services in the state.
