Bhubaneswar, Sept 15 [UDN}: The Koraput District Collector visited Dasmantpur Block today as part of an official field visit. During the visit, the Collector inspected the Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya and a coffee nursery, and interacted with members of various Self-Help Groups (SHGs) to discuss their activities, challenges and livelihood opportunities.
The Collector also visited Kauguda to inspect potato and strawberry cultivation, reviewing the progress and potential of these agricultural activities. At Rajuguda, a review was conducted on the implementation of infrastructure development and livelihood-related projects, with emphasis on improving local facilities and strengthening income-generating opportunities for the community.
The Collector further visited an Ayushman Arogya Mandir to assess the healthcare services being provided to local residents. The visit also included an inspection of the Government High School at Mainamal, where the Collector interacted with students and discussed their education, learning environment and academic development.
The field visit focused on reviewing ongoing development initiatives across education, healthcare, agriculture, infrastructure and livelihoods, while directly assessing the implementation of government programmes at the grassroots level.
