Bhadrak: Sept 17 [UDN}:A direct public grievance hearing jointly conducted by the District Collector of Bhadrak and the Superintendent of Police (SP), Bhadrak, was held at the premises of the Bhadrak Block Office. The camp provided an opportunity for members of the public to directly present their grievances and seek solutions to various issues concerning administration, development and public services.
During the hearing, the Additional District Magistrate (General), Chief Development Officer and Block Development Officer, along with other district-level officials and concerned departmental representatives, remained present. The officials listened to the grievances and petitions submitted by the people and took note of the issues raised by them.
The public hearing was aimed at ensuring that citizens could approach the district administration directly with their problems and receive timely attention to their complaints. The presence of officials from different departments also facilitated discussion on matters requiring coordination between various government agencies.
The district administration heard the petitions submitted by the people and assured that appropriate steps would be taken in accordance with the rules and procedures of the government. The camp reaffirmed the administration’s emphasis on accessible, responsive and citizen-centric governance, with priority being given to addressing public grievances in a timely manner.
