Koraput, Sept 18 [UDN}:Financial assistance has been extended to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Koraput district under the Chief Minister’s Scheme for Reimbursement of Interest to MSMEs (CM-SRIM).
Under the scheme, eligible beneficiaries have been provided reimbursement of the interest paid on Cash Credit (CC) loans during the 2025–26 claim period. The initiative is aimed at reducing the financial burden on MSME units and supporting their working-capital requirements.
In the first phase, the Koraput District Collector-cum-District Magistrate distributed interest reimbursement amounts to five eligible MSME beneficiaries.
The financial support is expected to strengthen the financial position of MSME units, improve access to working capital and help enterprises maintain uninterrupted operations. The initiative is also intended to encourage sustainable growth and expansion of small and medium businesses in the district.
The CM-SRIM assistance is being viewed as a measure to provide greater financial stability to eligible MSME entrepreneurs and support the broader development of the local enterprise sector.
