Odisha Farmers Receive CM Kisan Assistance Through Direct Bank Transfer

Bhubaneswar,  Sept 18 [UDN}:The Odisha government has released the latest CM Kisan assistance directly into the bank accounts of eligible farmers through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) mechanism.

Under the latest disbursement, more than 41 lakh farmer families across Odisha have received financial assistance under the CM Kisan scheme. Each beneficiary farmer has received ₹2,000 directly in their bank account.

Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi distributed the CM Kisan assistance at a programme held in Bhubaneswar, benefiting farming families across the state. More than ₹833 crore has been transferred to farmers under the latest instalment.

The government said the DBT-based system ensures that the assistance reaches eligible farmers directly, without intermediaries. The financial support is aimed at providing timely assistance to farming families and strengthening their agricultural activities.

With the latest release, over 41 lakh farmer families in Odisha have benefited from the CM Kisan scheme, according to the programme details.
