Bhubaneswar, Sept 18 [UDN}:Direct flight services from Bhubaneswar to Bangkok will resume from October 2, offering a convenient international air connectivity option for passengers travelling between Odisha and Thailand.
Bhubaneswar Airport Director Prasanna Pradhan said there had previously been strong passenger demand on the route, with the seat vacancy rate reportedly remaining at only 15–19%. The resumption of direct flights is expected to benefit both the business and tourism sectors.
The direct service will also provide relief to passengers who previously had to travel via Kolkata to reach Bangkok. With direct connectivity restored, travellers are expected to save both travel time and transportation costs.
The development is likely to strengthen Bhubaneswar’s international air connectivity and provide greater convenience for tourists, business travellers and other passengers travelling between Odisha and Thailand.
