Koraput,Sept 18 [UDN}: A review meeting on the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) was held under the chairmanship of the Koraput District Collector to assess the implementation and progress of various child development and welfare initiatives in the district.
The meeting focused on reviewing the delivery of essential services for children, pregnant women and lactating mothers, along with the functioning of Anganwadi centres and other ICDS-related programmes. The District Collector reviewed the progress of ongoing activities and emphasised the need for effective implementation of government schemes at the grassroots level.
Officials were directed to ensure that beneficiaries receive timely nutrition, health care, pre-school education and other essential services through the ICDS system. The meeting also stressed close monitoring of service delivery and coordinated efforts among the concerned departments to improve outcomes for children and mothers across Koraput district.
