Bhubaneswar, Sept 19 [UDN}: The Subhadra Yojana portal is set to reopen on April 1, providing another opportunity for eligible women to submit their applications for the Odisha government’s flagship women’s welfare scheme. According to the announcement, women who have completed 21 years of age will be able to apply through the portal once the application window becomes active.
The reopening of the portal is expected to benefit women who became eligible after the previous application phase or those who could not complete the registration process earlier. Applicants will have to meet the prescribed eligibility conditions and complete the required application formalities through the designated Subhadra platform.
The Subhadra scheme provides financial assistance to eligible women in Odisha, with the government transferring the benefit directly to beneficiaries’ bank accounts. The fresh opening of the portal is therefore expected to bring more newly eligible women into the scheme.
Women turning 21 and intending to apply should keep their required documents and bank-related details ready and complete the application process after the portal officially reopens on April 1.
