Raighar:Sept 19 [UDN}:Three meritorious students from Raighar block of Nabarangpur district have brought pride to their families and the entire region by qualifying in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) and securing opportunities to pursue MBBS courses at reputed government medical colleges in Odisha.
Coming from the relatively remote and border area of Raighar, Mahendra Gand, Uday Shankar Jani and Padma Gand had nurtured the ambitious dream of becoming doctors. Through determination, consistent hard work and dedication towards their studies, the three students have now turned that dream into reality.
Mahendra Gand, a resident of Sonpur village under Kurabedha Gram Panchayat, has successfully qualified in NEET and secured an opportunity to pursue his MBBS course at Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (VIMSAR), Burla. His achievement has brought immense happiness to his family as well as to the people of his native area.
Similarly, Uday Shankar Jani of Birisadi village has also cleared the NEET examination and secured admission to pursue MBBS at the Government Medical College and Hospital, Phulbani. His success has been widely appreciated by his family members, teachers and local residents.
Adding another achievement to Raighar’s growing list of academic successes, Padma Gand of Bargaon village has also qualified in NEET and secured the opportunity to pursue MBBS at SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack.
