Bhubaneswar, Sept 21 [UDN}:The Monsoon Session of the Odisha Legislative Assembly will commence on September 22 and continue until October 3. Ahead of the session, an all-party meeting will be held on September 21 at 11:30 AM to discuss the smooth functioning of the House.
Parliamentary Affairs Minister Mukesh Mahaling said the state government is prepared to discuss all issues that may be raised by the Opposition during the session. He said the all-party meeting will focus on ensuring the smooth and orderly conduct of Assembly proceedings and creating an environment for discussion on important public issues.
The upcoming Monsoon Session will have a total of nine working days. According to the schedule, there will be one holiday and two “No Meeting Days” during the session.
The ruling BJP Legislature Party meeting is also scheduled to be held on the afternoon of September 21, ahead of the commencement of the Assembly session.
Minister Mahaling said the government is ready to engage in discussions on all issues brought before the House and emphasized that the all-party meeting would help facilitate the smooth conduct of legislative business throughout the session.
