Kotpad: Sept 21 [UDN}:Pradeep Kumar Bhatt, a vocational education teacher at the Government PM SHRI Gangadhar Higher Secondary School in Kotpad block of Koraput district, has been honoured at the state level for his notable contribution to skill development and vocational education among students.
The award was presented to Bhatt at a state-level programme organised by the State Parents’ Association and Rotary Club at Geeta Govinda Bhavan in Bhubaneswar.
The programme was presided over by Parents’ Association president Basudev Bhatt. Former Education Minister Devi Prasad Mishra, along with Arup Patnaik, Abhishek Mitra and Sandeep Bastia, among others, attended the event.
Bhatt was among 30 vocational education teachers from across Odisha honoured at the programme for their significant contribution towards providing students with skill-based and career-oriented education. His efforts in helping students gain practical skills and vocational knowledge were recognised as part of the state-level felicitation.
Speaking on the occasion, Bhatt said that receiving the honour for the first time was a matter of pride not only for him personally but also for his school and the Kotpad block.
The recognition has brought appreciation to the PM SHRI Gangadhar Higher Secondary School and highlighted the importance of vocational education in equipping students with practical skills and preparing them for future employment and self-reliance.
