Ganjam, Sept 23 [UDN}:Ganjam district administration has issued a new set of 24×7 emergency helpline numbers to facilitate quick assistance and emergency response in view of the possible deep depression over the Bay of Bengal and the associated risk of heavy rainfall and adverse weather conditions.
The helpline list includes contact numbers for the District Emergency Operations Centre (DEOC) as well as emergency control rooms operating under various tehsils, blocks and Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) across Ganjam district.
Residents have been advised to contact the relevant helpline number for their area whenever emergency assistance is required. The initiative is aimed at ensuring prompt communication, coordination and response during any weather-related emergency.
Authorities have urged people to remain alert, follow official advisories and use the designated 24×7 helpline services whenever necessary.
