Nabarangpur Schools, Anganwadi Centres Shut on September 23–24 in View of Forecast Adverse Weather

Nabarangpur,Sept 23   [UDN}: In view of the forecast of heavy to very heavy rainfall, Nabarangpur District Collector Dr Maheswar Swain has issued an order directing the closure of all schools and Anganwadi centres across the district on September 23 and 24, 2026.

The decision has been taken as a precautionary measure in view of the prevailing weather conditions and the possibility of heavy rainfall affecting normal movement and safety. Authorities have advised residents, particularly students, children and their families, to remain cautious during the period of adverse weather.
