Kataka, Sept. 23 (UDN): The Kataka district administration has invited applications from registered cultural organisations interested in performing at the Bali Yatra-2026 cultural stage.
The annual festival is scheduled to be held from November 24 to December 1, 2026, and the administration has begun the process of selecting cultural troupes for performances during the event.
According to the district administration, interested organisations can obtain the prescribed application form from the official district website. Completed applications, along with the required documents, can be submitted to the Kataka District Culture Officer or sent via email to dco.ctc@gov.in by October 20, 2026.
Eligibility And Application Requirements
Applicant organisations must be registered under the Societies Registration Act, XXI of 1860 and are required to submit a copy of their registration certificate along with the application.
Preference will be given to organisations that have previously participated in national or international-level cultural events. Such organisations have been asked to submit relevant participation certificates as well as video footage of their performances for consideration.
The administration has clarified that incomplete applications will not be considered.
Each selected organisation will be provided one opportunity to perform at the Bali Yatra stage. A cultural troupe must comprise a minimum of 10 artists and a maximum of 25 artists.
Artists participating in the performances will also have to submit copies of their Aadhaar cards along with the application.
Rules For Performances
Participating organisations and artists will be required to submit an undertaking agreeing to comply with the rules and regulations prescribed by the district administration.
The administration has also made it clear that performances featuring obscene dance or music, or any act that shows disrespect to the National Flag or National Anthem, will not be permitted.
