Malkangiri Sept 24 [UDN}:A district-level joint grievance redressal camp was held at the conference hall of the Malkangiri Panchayat Samiti office on September 21 under the chairmanship of Malkangiri Collector Prathamesh Arvind Rajeshirke.
Malkangiri Superintendent of Police Vinod Patil, Sub-Collector Duryodhan Bhoi, the Malkangiri Panchayat Samiti Chairperson, Block Development Officer (BDO), and district-level officials from various departments were present at the camp. The officials heard a range of problems, requests and grievances brought forward by members of the public.
A total of 46 grievances were registered during the camp. These included 26 complaints related to individual problems, while the remaining complaints concerned rural and other general public issues. The Collector directed the concerned departmental officials to take necessary steps for the prompt resolution of the grievances within the stipulated time frame.
On the occasion, Collector Rajeshirke also distributed incentive assistance to beneficiaries under the Antyodaya Gruha Yojana. Social security allowances and benefits under other government welfare schemes were also distributed among eligible beneficiaries.
Speaking on the objective of the grievance camp, the Collector said that the initiative was aimed at ensuring that government services reach people more easily and that their problems are resolved promptly. The participation of officials from different departments was intended to facilitate faster action on the issues raised by the public.
