Sunabeda , Sept 25 [UDN}: A detailed discussion was held regarding the proposed new ward delimitation and reservation of seats in the Sunabeda Municipality. The meeting focused on the process of reorganising the municipal wards and determining the boundaries of the newly proposed wards in accordance with the applicable rules and administrative requirements.
During the discussion, various aspects related to the demarcation of ward boundaries, population distribution, administrative convenience and reservation of seats were considered. The proposed delimitation is aimed at ensuring proper representation of residents across different parts of the municipality and facilitating the smooth functioning of the urban local body.
The issue of seat reservation for different categories was also discussed as part of the exercise. The authorities reviewed the provisions governing reservation and the need to ensure that the allocation of reserved seats is carried out in accordance with the prescribed norms.
