Heavy Rains Disrupt Rail Services as Kirandul–Visakhapatnam Express Cancelled Due to Safety Concerns

Koraput,Sept 26 [UDN}: Due to continuous heavy rainfall, the Kirandul–Visakhapatnam Express service has been cancelled as a precautionary measure amid adverse weather conditions affecting the railway route.

🚆 Train No. 18515, operating from Visakhapatnam to Koraput, Jeypore and Kirandul, was cancelled on September 23.

Similarly, the return service from Kirandul to Jeypore, Koraput and Visakhapatnam was also cancelled.

🚆 Train No. 18516 was cancelled on September 24.

Passengers have been advised to confirm the latest train status with the Railways before starting their journey, as heavy rain may continue to affect train operations and railway routes in the region.
