Delhi, Sept 29 [UDN}:Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has arrived in Doha, Qatar, to participate in the 11th Annual Meeting of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) and the AIIB Investors’ Dialogue.
The annual meeting will focus on key issues concerning the strategic direction, operational priorities and future agenda of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank. The discussions are expected to cover the bank’s role in supporting infrastructure development and investment across member countries.
Sitharaman’s participation is part of India’s engagement with AIIB and discussions on strengthening infrastructure investment and cooperation.
