Koraput, Sept 29 [UDN}: A district-level programme under the Shri Jagannath Darshan Scheme was organised at the District Culture Bhawan in Koraput. On the occasion, Odisha Deputy Chief Minister and Women & Child Development Minister Pravati Parida virtually flagged off the first journey under the scheme, marking the formal commencement of the pilgrimage programme.
The event was attended by the local MLA and other dignitaries and officials. The initiative is aimed at facilitating devotees from the district to undertake a pilgrimage and have darshan of Lord Jagannath at Puri.
