Bhubaneswar, Oct 1 [UDN}:The TP Central Odisha Distribution Limited (TPCODL) is reaching out to villages to create awareness about the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana and encourage households to adopt rooftop solar power.
As part of the awareness campaign, TPCODL’s Solar Rath is visiting various Gram Panchayats in Khandapada Block of Nayagarh district. Through the campaign, people are being informed about the benefits of solar energy, the process of adopting rooftop solar systems and how households can reduce their monthly electricity bills by generating their own power.
The initiative aims to spread awareness among rural consumers about the government’s rooftop solar programme and encourage greater adoption of clean and renewable energy. TPCODL officials are using the Solar Rath to explain the benefits of solar power and provide information to villagers on the scheme and its potential to reduce household electricity expenses.
